This mod makes your pedal one $h!t kicking device! An amazing value all around. Involved is the basic SD-1 to TS808 conversion plus some extras. Capacitor values are changed and upgraded to higher fidelity Panasonic metal film type. Crucial resistors are changed to warmer sounding carbon composition type found in early tube screamers and preferred by the most discerning vintage-seeking players. And a couple of choice diodes are substituted to increase harmonic complexity and tube-like saturation...but there's more to it than that.
Compared to a normal t-screamer, many think this is slightly more raw and aggressive in sound and not as compressed, which is perfect for arpeggiated open chords and reaming riffs. Great for R&R and very raw agressive sound.... tons of space and less squashed chunk. Let the samples speak for themselves~
